What I'm Reading

I should probably say what I will start reading tonight on my kindle. I just finished reading a book last night so this is next on my list to read.

Spent some time in the quilt room this afternoon going through scraps and getting them ready to run through BIG MAMA so I can use them as leaders and enders for a quilt while I'm working on the wedding quilt.

What I'm Reading and What's on the Needles

This is the book I just started reading on my Kindle so I'm not sure if it is good enough to recommend or not yet. It is good enough so far that I will go past the first chapter and see how it develops.

I'm behind on posting what is on my needles so I'm including it in this post so I can kill two birds with one stone as they say. This is the Iceland Sweater class I'm doing on Craftsy. Once it is done I will be learning how to steek it to make it a cardigan.

This is the first thing I ever knit in 1972 while we were stationed in Keflavik, Iceland. I knit it for my husband and found out that he didn't like pullover sweaters. I wore it a few times (when I was much younger and thinner) and it's been in a drawer since. I'd like to make another one for the me of today. It's taken me 30 years or more to knit another Icelandic sweater.
