Well, I have managed to finish the maple leaf block and put them
into a top now I need to decide what to do for a border. Any suggestions would be welcome. I guess I'll have to take the top with me to the fabric store and see what I can come up with. I'm wanting to do another one with a black background. I do have a border fabric for that one. This is one bright and cheerful quilt.

Not sure about your border, but I sure like your Leaves of Change. It is autumn, but cheerful.
