Today is my husband's 62nd birthday. He has aged well and is still a keeper. Wish I could say the same for myself. This is a picture of us at 23 with our Daughter who now has 3 teenagers. Most of my pictures are packed but the next picture is of Carl now. He is a very talented man. He's made 2 quilts, turned countless bowls and pens, made me a lovely cedar chest and he's a great cook. He plays the guitar and he writes a great story. If you get time check out the Owen Newsletter on the side of my blog and you can read some of his work. Don't get him started telling jokes he has no off switch. We have grown up together and he is my best friend. So because he doesn't want anything for his birthday because it would be something else to move I am taking him to Olive Garden for lunch.

Happy Birthday to your husband. I've suggested to my husband that he should have a go at making a quilt once he retires later this year, but he's 'pooh-poohed' the idea. I'll have to let him know that it's not just a girlie thing.
Happy Birthday to hubby!!!! What would we ever do without them?? I have an uncle that after he retired from the railroad, he started making quilts with his wife and actually he does better work than she does!

Happy Birthday Carl! My hubby has many ideas for quilts but so far has not made any of them. He is still learning how to use the sewing machine and I think it overwhelms him. At times the new Creative Vision overwhelms me with all it can do.
How is the packing and such going? We miss seeing you at quilting.
Talk to you soon,
Cheryl
Happy birthday to your husband. My husband's birthday is August 22nd and he will be 63. I love Olive Garden so I know that you'll both enjoy his birthday dinner. I think we are going to go to Bahama Breeze, which is one of Olive Garden's siblings.
I hope your husband had a wonderful birthday.
Thank you so much for your kind comments on my blog recently. It really touched my heart and meant so much.
Come on over and celebrate life on my blog!
