Emma is at it again. On Saturday night my husband had a cookout and a poker game here at the house. During the poker game someone left the table and Emma never one to let opportunity pass her by jumped into his chair. The lady across the table managed to get this picture. I had to scan in the image she printed out and gave to us so the quality could be better. Emma looks like she was ready to raise. We won't mention how much fun she had rolling on all the feet under the table. She is such a ham.

Good Morning
While I am trying to post a message "Emma the Ornery" is acting like a two year old. She wants to be held and I told her no because I can't type and hold her at the same time. There is nothing quite like a cat bent on getting her own way.
I finished the Baby Quilt I was making for a customer. It is in the dryer and will be in the mail tomorrow morning. It came out really nice and I'm thinking of making another one a little larger as a lap quilt. I may even practice some fancy quilting on it if I get brave enough. This isn't the best picture. I quilted it with the clamshell pattern. Today is a piecing day I'm stealing the time to do some sewing I should really be sorting out paperwork and getting some packing done. Off to sew for awhile.

Tax Day
Well, taxes are in the mail. Now to get busy getting the house ready to sell. Looking at the weather reports I'm beginning to think we should have gone to Idaho this week instead of last. The weather is much nicer and warmer. Hopefully, spring will arrive here any day now. Looking forward to getting some quilting done. Guess I'd better get to bed so I can get some quilting done tomorrow.

Burley, Idaho
Here it is Tuesday evening. We spent yesterday looking at all the houses on our list. Needless to say none of them look as good close up as they did in the pictures. On the way back into town the realtor showed us a house that a friend of hers is fixing up to sell. It is small, but would do as a base of operations. So we'll check that out tomorrow. We will be heading to Boise on Wednesday evening so that Carl can take his Real Estate Exam on Thursday noon. Once that is finished we will be heading home. Stay tuned for further updates.

A Quick Note
Good morning from Boise. We arrived in Boise last night after an 11 am departure from home. We stopped and had lunch with Shirley and then got back on the road. This morning we will have breakfast at The Cracker Barrel and then on to Burley. The weather is cool and sunny with spot showers. We ran into some snow yesterday afternoon leaving Le Grande, Oregon, but it cleared up fairly soon. Hope that is the last we see of that on this trip. Was amazed at how much snow is still in the mountains. Well, it is my turn for the shower so I'll post more later.

Idaho Here We Come
Well, we've decided to make a trip to Idaho and look at a house with 2.5 acres. On our way back my better half will stop in Boise and take his real estate exam so he can get his license. So I have spent this week getting customer quilts all done before I leave. Have to find time to finish taxes so they can go in the mail before we leave also. If you really need to talk to me you can reach me on my cell phone. We'll be back home before next weekend. We'll stop and see Shirley on our trip and check out her new house. Take care and I'll talk to you from Idaho.
