Bargellow Bowl Quilt

On Superbowl Sunday I managed to get my strip sets done for the sew-in. I was coming down with a nasty cold so I have only managed to get two of them cut and resewn so far. I'm finally starting to feel like I might live so I am going to try getting the other two done tomorrow.

I'm really liking it so far. I have another set of strips sewn together made from flannel fat quarters that I purchased from Joann's online a couple of years ago. It should fit a queen sized bed once it is done. Doing this one has made me want to dig them out and get them finished. Once I do I'll post those pictures also.

New Link

Well, here it is February 2 already. I've added a webring link for the Carolina Crossroads Mystery Quilt to the blog. Now I am waiting to be approved. I haven't started my mystery quilt yet, because the bulk ( and I do mean Bulk) of my fabric is packed preparing for our move sometime this year. I have printed out the directions and can hardly wait to make the quilt. I did manage to uncover some 2.5" strips I had cut before everything was packed so they are ready for tomorrrows Super Bowl sewin. I may start tonight after I get the quilt for my customer done. Speaking of which I guess I'd better go out and do it. Get those machines cleaned, oiled and threaded and lets sew.
