Super Bowl Sunday

I'm thinking I'm going to join the Carolina Crossroads group on Superbowl Sunday and do a mini retreat to make a scrap bargello quilt. If you would like to join in you can go to http://www.quiltville.com/ and find on her website under Free Quilt Patterns on the left side the scrap bargello quilt. You can use the link on this site also. Bonnie gives the directions to make it. Please remember that her patterns are for your use only they are not to reprint, resell, or any other use. The one the quiltvillechat group is doing will be a lap quilt size. It takes 2.5" strips all different kinds work you want to have a mix of light, medium and dark. I will post pictures of mine as I go along. Let me know if you plan to join the fun. We can stay in touch through email on our progress as the day goes on.

The bargello sounds like fun. I think I will join you! I have much to do this week-including getting over bronchitis. I also think I will do the Carolina Crossroads... I like that as well... it sounds fun. Your colors sound really pretty- traditionally those are my favorites. Not sure yet what I will do. I also have a baby quilt that needs to be done asap. the baby was born Jan 24. We have all been waiting his arrival. He is the first grandchild. His name is Ben.
I will see you later,
love and hugs
