Winter in the Northwest

Even though it is not officially winter someone didn't get the memo here in the Pacific Northwest. The last time we had weather this cold for this long was 18 years ago. This morning about 11:30 this is how it looked out in front. The second picture is out the back and looking up the hill. So far today we've had about 4 (four) inches, but the day is young. On the bright side we do still have power. So while that is the case I think I will do some sewing. I am finishing up Christmas projects so I will have to post pictures later next week. I might even get some baking done.

Emma and Lucy have worn themselves out watching the snow fall and trying to catch the snowflakes that get to close to the window. Stay warm and safe and have a cozy day sewing or whatever you are doing.
