Quilt Bugs

I've decided to post my quilt bugs so that others may enjoy them as much as I do. Back in 1993 I was reading some of the quilting magazines that had piled up and one thing kept popping out at me as I read the articles. At least once and sometimes more often somewhere in the articles of each magazine someone mentioned being bitten by the "Quilt Bug" and a light went off in my brain. I wonder what a quilt bug looks like says I to the cat (no one else was home at the time) and an image began to take shape in my mind. I could hardly wait for someone to get home so I could tell them about my brilliant idea. Needless, to say my very supportive Better Half thought it was a great idea. So it pretty much stayed in the back of my mind for the next couple of years. I wanted to do a Quilt Bug pin, but it was an expensive thing to do. My husband kept after me to get it done so finally with the help of my brother-in-law Richard(the corel draw expert)I came up with my design. I told Richard what I wanted and he made it happen. I managed to do six different Quilt Bugs starting with the first one in 1996. Richard came up with the idea of putting polka dots on the shoes which are hard to see on the pins, but they sure are cute on a larger image. So now my next step is to learn to digitize them so they can be sewn out on an embroidery machine. Then I can have a cd to market with the current designs and anything new I come up with for people to embroider onto whatever they would like. That is one of my projects to work on this year besides moving. So let me know what you think of my Quilt Bugs.

I love your quilt bugs and think it would be a wonderful idea to digitize them. I will be first in line to purchase them from you!!
